We have sought out manufacturers here in New Zealand that provide the highest performing double glazing units, including superior thermal spacers. These suppliers are current members of IGUMA (“Insulating Glass Unit Manufacturers Association, New Zealand), meeting BRANZ testing standards.

Timber Profiles

The Double Glazing Company has developed a suite of timber profiles for retrofitting double glazing into timber frames. Our supplier uses wood grown sustainably here in New Zealand with timber profiles meeting export grade standards.

Aluminium Profiles

The Double Glazing Company has developed a suite of aluminium profiles for retrofitting double glazing into aluminium frames. All the aluminium profiles are exclusive to The Double Glazing Company and the aluminium is extruded here in New Zealand by our supply partner, Fairview Systems. The aluminium “billet” that is used in the extrusion process is predominantly supplied from Tiwai in the South Island.
